The Lowdown
Set high above the quiet fishing town of Simon’s Town, with sweeping views of False Bay and the harbour, this contemporary seaside house embraces quiet luxury—think double-volume ceilings, a palette of blonde timber, soft linen, warm marble and ceramic, and an abundance of natural light. Feeling adventurous? Take the exclusive-use Vespa for a spin, and explore the peninsula’s scenic coastal roads
Sleeping Arrangements
Liberty sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms, each with stunning views of False Bay
What To Expect
The house is set over 3 levels: the top level houses the parking garage and a bedroom suite; the middle level has the main living and dining areas, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, home cinema, bar, master suite, and a shaded courtyard with outdoor oven and seating area; and the lower level holds the remaining two bedroom suites, additional living and dining rooms, secondary kitchen, and direct access to the outdoor terrace, pool, and garden
The Art House Difference
Every inch of the home is brilliantly curated, from custom furniture—including a one-of-a-kind Jan Ernst-designed ceramic coffee table in the living room—to an art collection most galleries would envy. William Kentridge, Norman Katherine, Deborah Bell, and Penny Siopis are just a few of the names you’ll spot on the walls
