Situated close to beaches, mountains, and wetlands, Oxalis provides easy access to various outdoor activities, such as mountain trails, surfing, swimming and kitesurfing, and coastal foraging. The centre of town, with a host of restaurants and cafes, as well as a fresh-produce market on weekends, is within a few minutes’ walking distance from the house.
Scarborough has an unofficial “dark sky” policy. In effect the residents try to keep the sky as dark as possible – this means limiting outside light to an absolute minimum. It’s part of what makes seeing the stars so special in Scarborough. We ask that you please keep outside lights off and if you feel that it is necessary to keep an outside light on – please limit this to one light only
